Bookstart Logo

Bookstart is the world’s first national book-gifting programme run by the BookTrust and gives free books for every child aged 0-5 years in England and Wales. The main aim of the programme is to encourage a love of books, stories and rhymes in children from as young an age as possible.

Bookstart Pilot:

Early Years settings are chosen to take part in the new pilot if they meet gifting criteria. Plans for 23-24 gifting are currently underway and will be communicated to providers through Sector Updates shortly.

We offer dual-language (DL) books and guidance to families that have English as an additional language (EAL).
