Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum Level 3 plus two years experience in an early years setting.

Responsibilities/Extra Information:

We are seeking an experienced kind, caring and dedicated person to join our staff team, who must be able:

• To work alongside the Supervisor to establish an appropriate, secure and exciting learning environment for the children to thrive in.
• To take full responsibility of a session in the absence of the Supervisor, actively promoting and supporting the safeguarding of our children and upholding the ethos, policies and procedures of our pre-school.
• To assist with the planning and the evaluation of the curriculum by providing safe, creative and appropriate educational opportunities for all children within an inclusive environment.
• To listen to, nurture, encourage, stimulate and educate the children to further develop their skills, in line with the current early years curriculum, legislation requirements and safeguarding procedures.
• To act as a keyworker to a small group of children, working with parents / carers to ensure individual needs are met. To be responsible for the observations, record keeping and further planning relating to these children.
• To support the Supervisor and all staff in their roles, including some administrative duties.
