Action for Children, Bucks Activity Project - Children's Services Worker
Qualifications/Experience:
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (NNEB, CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education)
- Knowledge of disabilities/additional needs (desirable).
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Have a positive attitude and desire to give the best care to children and young people
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good observational skills
- Ability to support children and young people to have fun and positive experiences
- Willingness to travel to local services and group activities across Buckinghamshire
- Access to own transport (desirable)
- Ability to attend occasional training, potentially out of work hours
Responsibilities/Extra Information:
- You will be providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care, working as part of a team to provide an enabling environment and to build strong parent partnerships to enable all children's needs to be met.
- Effectively delivering the EYFS within a team ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met.
- Keeping records of children's development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child's life.
- Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.
- Carrying out personal care and administering medication (Training provided)
